About Erica Keus Owens
Erica Owens is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in individual and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in Cardiff, California. She grew up in Southern California and has always had a passion for sports. Her moral and work ethic foundation has centered around her love for sports. Relationship building, team work, self-esteem, and empowering others has always been her focus. These characteristics have been the center of her core values and how she approaches therapy.
Erica has provided an array of therapy, treatment, and counseling to children, teens, adults and families. She has served as Program Manager at different programs in San Diego, supervising marriage and family therapists, interns and trainees and overseeing the Military programs, crisis interventions, and Women's Substance Abuse and Family Counseling Programs.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. While playing Division 1 soccer at San Diego State University, Erica received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Problems.
Erica believes that creating change is possible, and within everyone, exists the potental to fully express your authentic self and abilities. It is during the difficult times in life that her professinal support and guidance can help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
